Even reality shows are scripted most of the time, but there are moments when something very unlikely happens, it feels like a bomb is dropped in the middle of filming.

That's exactly what happened when 27-year-old Lindsay Lohan revealed why she has been missing days of filming her own reality TV show.

She blurted out the news during the season finale of her OWN series, "Lindsay" saying, "No one knows this - I had a miscarriage for those weeks that I took off."

She also revealed that the experience made her very sick, telling the audience, "I couldn't move, I was sick. Mentally, that messes with you."

The former "Mean Girl" did not disclose who the father of the baby was, however. The news about her miscarriage came just days after a list of Lohan's sex partners was leaked by the media.

She also shared what it was like seeing herself on reality TV: "Watching this series, I just know how I felt at that moment and I can relate to that girl, which sounds kind of crazy, but I'm like, 'Oh my god, this is really sad. Who's helping her?' There was a lot going on in my life then. I cried so many times watching it. Because I don't see it as me - it is strange. It is weird."

On the other hand, the rest of Lohan's drama may be seen in tabloids instead of the reality show, as Oprah Winfrey, founder of OWN, mulls about renewing the poorly-rated series. According to the New York Daily,  "Lindsay" attracted less than 700,000 viewers during its season premiere.

In other Lohan-related news, the film that made the star a household name turned ten this week, according to The Guardian.  Lohan's role as Cady Heron in "Mean Girls" was handed to her by then-head-writer of Saturday Night Live, Tina Fey.
