Actress Lorena Herrera expressed her support to singer Ninel Conde after she got involved in a scandal over the leak of a recording in which she's heard arguing with her partner over an alleged abortion.
Despite problems between Lorena and Ninel, Herrera expressed her solidarity with the so-called "Bombón asesino".
"She's not a woman I like very much, I've always said that, but regardless. If the man dared to publish that, he's barely a man... whether it's true or not, he can't be a man if he does something that low," said Herrera to Radio Fórmula. "Smearing her reputation, I think that's intimate and very private and shouldn't be leaked at any cost. If it's real is sad that there's men like that and you have to be more careful with who you give your body, soul and love to," she added.
Earlier this April, TV y Novelas received a mysterious telephone call from an anonymous source who said: "I want to unmask this woman who has always been seen as a victim. That is the reason I'm doing this."
The source added that on March 24, when Conde did not deny or confirm the rumors on her pregnancy, she went to get an abotion with a gynecologist.
New Projects for Lorena Herrera in the United States
Shortly before the actress celebrates 25 years in the business, she has some hosting projects in the U.S. Without revealing further details, Lorena said that she is a person who enjoys being surprised by life, and doesn't go around asking for work.
"I let life and my career surprise me, and I don't know if that is right or wrong, but I don't go around looking," she said.
