Jack Gleeson is definitely moving forward from "Game of Thrones". In a new interview by Entertainment Weekly, Gleeson talked about his very dramatic exit from the HBO hit television show. The 21-year-old plays young tyrant King Joffrey Baratheon, who succumbed to his death on Sunday in the "Purple Wedding" episode, minutes after his wedding to the lovely Margaery Tyrell, brilliantly played by actress Natalie Dormer.

He said about filming what potentially is the last episode he will be appearing in, "I suppose it's one of those things that you have no prior experience in. I've never seen anyone die. It's hard to imagine what it would be like," he said. "But [director Alex Graves] very kindly walked me through it. It was fun in the end, but kind of stressful to be so focused, but acting like you're completely unfocused. Difficult, but exciting."

CBS News said that Gleeson's character died in episode apparently from poison. As of the latest episode, all fingers point to his uncle, Peter Dinklage's Tyrion Lannister. Before Joffrey's death, he had humiliated his uncle to a great degree, even destroying his wedding present to the king into pieces with a sword and drenching his uncle with wine.

Gleeson said that his early retirement at 21 wasn't necessarily that early. He told EW that he has been acting since age 8, and no longer gets any joy from acting as much as he had gotten before.

Everyone's favorite television boy-tyrant also revealed to EW that he might go back to school, but he's uncertain about doing anything at this point. He said, "I have one year left in college. After that, I might do a post-graduate of some kind, but I don't know in what."

On the other hand, fans who are delighted with his television work, especially in "Game of Thrones" might be happy to know that he is not shutting any acting doors. He said, "When I'm destitute in 10 years time, I'll accept any script! No. As long as I'm in the not-ungrateful-but-perhaps-happy place where I can say "No" to whatever, I'm going to do that."
