VideoGamer reports that according to Ubisoft creative director Julian Gerighty, the online racer gamer will run in native 1080p, 30 frames per second on both the PS4 and the Xbox One. The title's PC version will allegedly not be quite far off with the current gen version's resolution and frame rate, the outlet adds.

Gerighty says that "The Crew" developer, Ivory Tower, is "really trying to get parity across all versions, so it's something that's important to us not to branch out and not do individual things for individual platforms."

Although resolution and frame rate are more or less uniform across all platforms, Gerighty told VideoGamer that Ubisoft Reflections is making the most out of the PlayStation DualShock 4's touchpad. "We'll be using the trackpad to manipulate the map and stuff like that, so they've really pushed two or three different things there," he told the outlet.

The microtransaction system of "The Crew" will reportedly allow players to use real-world money to buy performance parts. Speaking with VideoGamer in another report, Gerighty spills, "We can confirm that performance parts can be unlocked through progression as well as microtransactions. All content can be unlocked through progression, but for busy gamers who want to save some time, they will have the opportunity to buy some items in-game."

GameSpot notes that "The Crew" will be joining the likes of PS3's "Gran Turismo 6" and the Xbox One's "Forza Motorsport 5" which also support microtransactions.

The Ubisoft game will be out fall of this year but GameSpot notes that it is already available for pre-order. Console gamers can choose from three "The Crew" editions including the Limited Edition which includes early access to cars like the BMW Z4 sDrive35is, Mini Cooper S, and Dodge Ram SRT-10 plus 10,000 bonus credits, the GameStop exclusive Muscle Edition which includes everything from the Limited edition plus early access to the 2015 Ford Mustang GT and the standard version priced at $60.
