Did you see that gold ring Selena Gomez wore during the Kid's Choice Awards on Monday? What was that for? Could it be an engagement ring from on-and-off-and -on love Justin Bieber?
That was not the first time the 21-year-old singer-actress wore this piece of jewelry. It was also seen on her left hand while making a speech at the We Day conference on March 26 in Oakland, California, Hollywood Life reported.
Could this be a sign that Jelena will be tying the knot soon? And that she is pregnant?
"They are not engaged nor are they getting engaged anytime soon. It was nothing more than a fashion choice," an insider close to Biebs told the American entertainment news source.
"The ring was a gift from Justin," said another source. "It's not an engagement ring, but they are back on and very serious."
That clears things up.
Last month, various rumors about the young couple surfaced, including speculations that the stylish Disney star was expecting. A fake sonogram posted on a hoax site triggered talks that Sel may be sporting a baby bump soon, Entertainmentwise noted. The news have since been proven to be false.
And now, whisperings of an engagement has been waved away as untrue.
However, this does not prevent Selena's family from worrying about her future - and the possibility of her doing something out of character.
"Her family is extremely worried that she'll do something crazy like elope with him," a source told Hollywood Life. "Selena is totally wrapped back up in Justin, it's the same pattern happening all over again."
"No one in her circle is happy that she's back together with Justin, they've even talked about staging some sort of intervention to get her away from him but at this point that would only push her closer to him. Until he screws up again there's not much that anyone can do," the insider said in conclusion.
We know Taylor Swift's one of those in her "circle" who's not jumping with joy over her reunion with Justin.
