MTV recently debunked reports that the Spice Girls were reuniting and going on a tour with the Backstreet Boys. A representative of the Boys said that the rumors were not true. Instead, the group will be touring with Avril Lavigne this summer.

Although rumors of a team-up has been clarified, whisperings about a possible Spice Girls reunion still has not died down. Especially when a former member herself is the one giving hints of the group's revival.

"I think if the Spice Girls went on tour we'd want to have the stage to ourselves," Mel B, aka "Scary Spice," said during a guest co-hosting stint at "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," a U.S. TV show, the Daily Mail noted.

Didn't Victoria Beckham declare she's had enough of her old gang? She told the Daily Mail in the past that her reunion with the girls during the London 2012 Olympics was her last.

"I won't ever do it again. Doing the Olympics was an incredible honour. I was so proud to do it; proud to be British... That was a perfect time to say, 'That's great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.' Sometimes you've got to know when it's time to leave the party," the fashion designer formerly known as "Posh Spice" revealed.

Her statement pretty much closed the door on any possible reunion. However, according to the Daily Mail, a new development appeared to change this outlook, as another former bandmate Mel Chisholm, better known as Mel C, has revealed.

"We've talked about it. Victoria doesn't want to, which we completely understand. We are so proud of her and her incredible foray into fashion, it's incredible what she's achieved as a designer," the 'Cool as You' singer said. "The four of us could consider it maybe. We have Victoria's blessing to do that."
