Job and career site Glassdoor has revealed its annual report on this year's Highest Rated CEOs.

"New this year, we are recognizing 50 CEOs leading large companies (1,000 or more employees) and 25 CEOs leading small & mid-sized companies (fewer than 1,000 employees). Glassdoor's Highest Rated CEOs were determined by the people who work for them - their employees," said a statement from Glassdoor's site.

This list could be considered as a guide for jobseekers searching for greener pastures and putting a premium on organizational leadership. With that being said, it won't be a surprise if LinkedIn's job application volumes spike in the next few weeks. The business networking site's own head honcho made it to the top of this year's list.

"Jeff Weiner has claimed the number one spot in Glassdoor's latest survey of highest rated CEOs at large companies, getting a perfect 100% approval score from his staff," CNN reported.

Here are the top 10 bosses in the Highest Rated CEOs 2014 list:

  1. Jeff Weiner, LinkedIn - Approval: 100%

  2. Alan R. Mulally, Ford Motor - Approval: 97%

  3. Richard W. Edelman, Edelman - Approval: 97%

  4. John E. Schlifske, Northwestern Mutual - Approval: 95%

  5. Paul E. Jacobs, Qualcomm - Approval: 95%

  6. Craig Jelinek, Costco Wholesale - Approval: 95%

  7. Brad Smith, Intuit - Approval: 94%

  8. Lloyd C. Blankfein, Goldman Sachs - Approval: 94%

  9. Howard D. Schultz, Starbucks - Approval: 93%

  10. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook - Approval: 93%

Google's Larry Page is just at the fringes of the top ten, occupying the 11th spot with a 93% approval rating. Apple's Tim Cook sits at # 18 with a 92% rating. Meanwhile, Yahoo's Marissa Mayer is far behind at # 50, with a 79% rating. She is only one of two female CEOs who have placed in the top 50. The other female boss, Sharen Turney of Victoria's Secret Stores, earned the # 35 spot with an 85% rating.

According to The Washington Post, Zuckerberg was last year's top-ranked CEO on Glassdoor's list. Will he still maintain his position next year or go up a couple of notches? That remains to be seen.
