Small encouraging signs were revealed in the latest medical report of the Formula 1 pilot, Michael Schumacher, hospitalized since December 29 after suffering severe head injuries in a skiing accident in the French Alps.

As his agent said, Schumacher might recover after spending weeks in an induced coma and is currently in the process of waking up, asking his fans to be patient and continue hoping that the racing driver will recover.

"We are confident that Michael will recover and wake up," his agent, Sabine Kehm, said in a brief press release quoted by Reuters. "Sometimes there are small and encouraging signs, but we also know this is the time to be very patient," he added.

The seven-time champion is in stable condition since he fell in a coma on Dec. 2013, staying under constant observation at the intensive cares unit of the University Hospital in Grenoble. 45-year-old Schumacher underwent two surgeries after the accident, and in reported to be stable but at risk.

Last Feb. Sabine Kehm shared a message sent by the driver's family in which they thanked fans for their support and understanding with Michael's evolution.

On the other hand, regarding the accident's investigation, the Albertvillela prosecutor, Patrick Quincy, said in a press release quoted by Reuters that the investigation was closed last Feb. 12, dismissing the idea that a third person might have been involved in the accident that caused the driver to fall and put him in a coma due to a strong blow to the head.

"The investigation on the causes and consequences of the Dec. 29 accident (...) was closed on Feb.12 (...) No one has been declared guilty of any violation," said Patrick Quincy.
