While the World Cup will undoubtedly be filled with a plethora of poor design choices there are a more uniforms to marvel at. Here are the best designs for the upcoming World Cup.

Group A

Brazil's yellow home jersey remains rather conservative and elegant in its look. However, the team's blue away jersey is the real winner here. The jersey maintains a rather minimal look with subtle stripes throughout.

Croatia's classic checkered pattern works really well. The blue alternate is also elegant in its minimal use of red and white checkers bordering a predominantly blue look.

Cameroon's yellow away jersey is also well made; the patterns that dominate the uniform are very subtle and add nuance; they are a far cry from the exaggerated patterns on the home green.

Group B

The defending champion Spain no longer has blue shorts, but the new red kits are elegant in their minimal design. The descending stripes actually add to the polish of the uniform which is accented by gold on the three crests.

The other three teams in this group are also spot on in their designs. Chile's two uniforms are dominated by one color but have subtle accents from other colors to keep the jerseys dynamic. The Netherlands keep to one predominant color in both uniforms to solid effect. Finally Australia manages a solid balance with both uniforms dominated by one color and bordered by another.

Group C

Greece and the Ivory Coast both manage elegant designs with minimal colors; the Greeks have blue and white colors that give the rest of the uniform a subtle dynamism. The Ivorians go all-in with the single color design and hit it big, especially with their orange home kit. The traditional African patterns are well placed on the shoulders and do not detract from the remainder of the uniform.

Group D

Uruguay, England and Italy all keep to a rather traditional look that many might feel they have seen before. But with these nations the old adage of "If it ain't broken, don't fix it" certainly applies.

Group E

Ecuador's kit is busy, but still has a strong sense of organization thanks to the dominant yellow and the restriction of the blue and red to the borders. The alternate blue is slightly less successful but still a solid design.

France's white away kit is bland, but the blue home kit with collar is neat in its execution.

Group F

Argentina also maintains a conservative pattern with the home. The away is a nice shade of dark blue that also packs a nice punch.

Group G

Ghana's white jersey is solid as well with a nice accent on the collar from a colorful design. The away red is also stylish despite its overabundant designs throughout; fortunately the red manages to diminish the impact of the patterns significantly.

Group H

Algeria has a barebones design with one color dominating throughout. The subtle borders of green on the home (and white on the away) are well placed and give the uniform a polish that few other jerseys in this tournament have.
