Mexican comedian Eugenio Derbez and his wife, Alessandra Rosaldo, revealed the gender of their first child, announcing that it is a girl who in a few months will fill their home with greater joy and happiness.

The news was revealed by Aislinn Derbez, the comedian's oldest daughter, assuring that the baby's arrival will unite their family even more.

"We're happy. The truth is that we're very happy and we are just waiting for her to arrive, I think we are all going to be together, we are going to be more united than ever," said Eugenio Derbez' daughter, according to Mexican magazine TV Notas.

On her Twitter account, Alessandra shared the first gifts her baby has received from family members, thanking everyone profusely for the love they have shown the newest member of the family.

The first gifts were in neutral colors, yellow and green, which are traditionally chosen when the baby's gender is still unknown; however, a blanket in pink tones, a gift from "aunt Mariana" was the first gift chosen for the baby girl.
