The sixth season of Parks and Recreation will end with a cameo from a very special guest. First Lady Michelle Obama will appear in the episode, "Moving Up" which was filmed in Miami late in February, during a celebration of her investments in healthier out-of-school programs as part of her initiative to solve problems of childhood obesity.

According to Time, Obama appeared with "Parks" star Amy Poehler in Miami last Tuesday at the most recent Let's Move campaign, encouraging children to have healthier snacks as well as to enjoy physical activities after school. Poehler even introduced Obama at the event, saying, "We are best friends. I'm coming over to your house. I want you to cook me something to eat...lean meats, whole grains, vegetables, you may have heard."

Deadline.com reports that Obama's appearance on the show is a continuation of NBC's team-ups with DC heavyweights, with her appearance first raising the ratings for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in a sleepover skit with Will Ferrell.

The First Lady is the latest among a slew of politicians who have appeared in the show. Other cameos were made by Vice President Joe Biden, Arizona Senator John McCain, California Senator Barbara Boxer, and former Maine Senator Olympia Snowe. According to the Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Michael Schur is still setting his sights on his ultimate goal: Hillary Clinton.

He told the Hollywood Reporter, "I always imagined the perfect ending to the series -- and I hope it's not for a while -- would be a casual piece of B-roll where Leslie is walking through a building in Washington, D.C., and passes Hillary Clinton, and Hillary Clinton says, 'Leslie.' Leslie says, 'Secretary Clinton,' and keeps walking." He added, "That might still be five seasons away, but that's the trajectory I would like Leslie to enjoy."

Parks and Recreation Season 6 finale will air on April 24 at 8:00 p.m. on NBC.
