A man was brutally beaten and declared dead during his arrest in the parking lot of a movie theater in Oklahoma. Five police officers subdued the man after an alleged family dispute was reported, an act that filmed by the man's wife on with her phone.

The video uploaded to the internet shows the moment in which Nair Rodríguez accuses the officers of arresting her husband with extreme brutality, while Luis Rodríguez lies on the floor, pinned under five police officers.

The family's lawyer, Michael Brooks-Jiménez, quoted by CNN, said that Nair Rodríguez argued with his 19- year-old daughter in the movie theater and went out to the parking lot followed by her husband to defuse the situation; however, with the domestic dispute report, police officers assaulted the man and subdued him, killing him.

Moore Police Department spokesman Jeremy Lewis said that some of the police officers involved in the murder were not on duty at the time; however, they still responded to the report.

Brooks-Jiménez said that the officers used pepper spray on Luis' face, describing the act as brutal and deadly.

The Moore Police Department reported that three of the police officers involved in the murder were suspended from their duties, according to CNN. The case is being analyzed by the Oklahoma Office of Investigations, awaiting the results of the autopsy and the release of the videos which might more clearly explain the regrettable events which took place in the parking lot of the Moore movie theater.

The chief forensic doctor of Oklahoma, Amy Elliott said that Luis' autopsy was carried out on Feb. 16; however, the results will be revealed after receiving the toxicology report, according to CNN.

A witness quoted by Fox News said it had seen a family dispute inside the movie theater, and alerted the theater's security team. The woman hit her teenage daughter and left the theater, followed by her husband.

The police interrogated Luis regarding the dispute, and he said it was a family matter.
