The successful telenovela "La Reina del Sur", a show based on the best seller by Spanish author Arturo Pérez Reverte, reached it's ending on Monday, Feb. 17 in one of the most intense episodes Telemundo has ever presented.

Starring Kate del Castillo as Teresa Mendoza, the telenovela, which premiered in 2011, reached Telemundo network's biggest ratings since its beginnings and up until now and quickly became a phenomenon that attracted thousands of viewers.

According to Telemundo's website, the conclusion of the thrilling story of Tereza Mendoza will make way to the introduction of a new drama, "En Otra Piel", a show starring Ecuadorian actress María Elisa Camargo, Argentinian actor David Chocarro and Mexican actor Jorge Luis Pila.

The new TV show will air from Monday to Friday on the same time slot on which "La Reina del Sur" broadcasted and will tell the story of two women who become involved in a series of supernatural circumstances and force them to live extreme situations.

Produced by Julio Jiménez and adapted for a telenovela script by Laura Sosa, the new productions was filmed on location in Los Angeles, Miami and Mexico.

It's worth noting that Telemundo is also preparing the premiere of its first great production of 2014, "Camelia la Texana", a show inspired by the corrido "Contrabando y Traición" by Los Tigres del Norte, produced and developed by Campanario Entertainment and will premiere in a stellar time slot from Monday to Friday at 10 a.m. on Telemundo (channel 52 in Los Angeles), and will substitute the show "Santa Diabla", according to Hollywood Today.

Starring Sara Maldonado as Camelia la Texana and Erik Hayes as Emilio Varela, Telemundo's new production seeks to repeat the success of "La Reina del Sur" and "El Señor de los Cielos", productions based on drug trafficking which have enjoyed great success among Latino audiences in the United States.
