The sister of the late Jenni Rivera, Rosie, will have a special role in the video for "Paloma Blanca", a song with which her niece Chiquis debuted in the music industry, a song she dedicated to Jenni.

It seems that tensions between Rosie and her niece have been forgotten after the executor of the "Diva of Banda" offered a public apology to her sister's daughter during an interview with host Myrka Dellanos in an American TV show.

"Paloma Blanca" is a song written by "Chiquis" Rivera, who arrived at the music industry and dedicated her first song to the memory of her mother Jenni who died in Dec. 2012 in a tragic plane crash that shocked the Latino public.

The song touches on sensible matters in the damaged relationship between Jenni and her daughter, the misunderstanding that might have been resolved and how painful it is for the young singer to face life without her mother.

Lupillo Disagrees with Rosie Wearing Jenni's Dress

After news broke out that Rosie would wear one of her sister's dresses during the video for "Paloma Blanca", singer Lupillo Rivera, brother of the late singer, expressed his disagreement with the act, saying that it would have been better if she had one made, and that she ought to respect his sister's memory.

"I wouldn't have used it (...) I would have had one made, just like it, but I wouldn't have used one of my sister's dresses," said Lupillo in an interview with El Gordo y La Flaca, quoted by People en Español.
