The Super Bowl XLVIII over and done, and the Seattle Seahawks running roughshod over the hapless Denver Broncos 43 to 8. However, in a report from the IBTimes, the one sided score lead many to believe that the game is rigged.

According to the news report, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning was overheard by Super Bowl referee Terry McAulay telling Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll, "When are you going to pay up?" This lead many to believe that the Broncos had thrown the game away in exchange for a large sum of money.

This story, though, was said to be faked, according to a report from the Inquisitr. The story was first posted on Huzlers, a fake story site. On the site, it said, "After the Seattle Seahawks victory over the Denver Broncos at the NFL's 48th Super Bowl with a final score of 43-8, NFL officials have just discovered that the game was most likely to be rigged. NFL officials have just found clues that might prove the game was rigged. Officials believe the Broncos intentionally lost the championship in exchange for a large amount of money."

The news report though, according to The Epoch Times, had a disclaimer at the bottom of the page, which read, "Huzlers is a combination of real shocking newd and satire news to keep its visitors in a state of disbelief."

Other news items on the Huzlers site include "President Barack Obama Outlaws Twerking", "DNA Test reveals Kanye West is not the father of North West", and "Justin Bieber Escapes Jail After Being Arrested for DUI and Illegal Racing."

The said report still made headlines, with over 3,000 tweets and nearly 30,000 Facebook likes. Despite the obvious disclaimer, many still believed that the game was rigged because of the lopsided score, according to the Inquisitr.
