W Magazine kicked off 2014 with the revelation of a special movie Issue, featuring not just one but SIX covers of "the year's biggest stars," the Daily Mail reported.

Oprah Winfrey, Amy Adams, Cate Blanchett, Lupita Nyong'o, Matthew McConaughey, and Jennifer Lawrence were the fab 6 featured on the magazine's February 2014 issue.

The special ish is even more notable because J. Law made an interesting revelation in the magazine - the 'American Hustle' star explained the real reason why she tripped on her way to receive her Oscar award last year.

"I was at the Oscars, waiting to hear if my name was called, and I kept thinking, Cakewalk, cakewalk, cakewalk. I thought, 'Why is 'cakewalk' stuck in my head?'" the quotable 23-year-old told W Magazine.

"And then, as I started to walk up the stairs and the fabric from my dress tucked under my feet, I realized my stylist had told me, 'Kick, walk, kick, walk.' You are supposed to kick the dress out while you walk, and I totally forgot because I was thinking about cake! And that's why I fell.'"

Ah, Jennifer! You never fail to amuse us!

The 'Hunger Games' actress' penchant for candid revelations has made her a media favorite and a perenially quotable celebrity. Her recent utterances are yet another affirmation of her reputation as a consistently interesting interview subject.

In past interviews, she has talked about wanting to be a hotel maid, getting embarrassed over the discovery of her sex toy stash in a hotel, and considering calling someone "fat" as an illegal act.

The W Magazine feature could very well serve as the Hollywood It girl's vehicle for promoting her latest movie, 'American Hustle'. It can also do her well in pushing her chances at winning another major acting award this year.

Lynn Hirschberg, who authored the upcoming issue's piece on "actors who killed it this year," has called Jen's performance in the David Russell-directed film as both "charismatic and unbalanced."

Will her "charismatic and unbalanced" performance get an Oscar nod this year?
