With the PlayStation 4 now available to the public and a host of launch titles out for gamers to fawn over, Sony has turned its attentions toward the future to show us what to expect in the coming months from the new console. During the Sony PlayStation 4 All Access event Sony announced that Uncharted 4 will be coming to the PS4, and also revealed the official release date for Infamous: Second Son.

The PlayStation Blog and Naughty Dog confirmed some details about Uncharted 4 in a post written by Arne Meyer, the community strategist for Naughty Dog:

"We have great news for all our Uncharted fans... the team are hard at work on an amazing new installment of the Uncharted series to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 4 system. Our goal is to continue what we've done in previous console generations and once again deliver the best in storytelling, performance capture, technical innovation and graphics on the PS4. We can confirm that the voiceover is performed by Todd Stashwick and he will play a character in the game."

Naughty Dog also released a trailer for the game that can be seen below, which is quite cryptic, to say the least.

"Some chains can never be broken. I lost 15 years. Buried alive. Erased. You left me rotting in that hell hole and never looked back. But you can't outrun the past, and when it catches up, when all your lies collapse around you, I'll be there, sifting through the wreckage. You owe me," a narrator ominously intones in the game's teaser trailer.

While Uncharted 4's announcement is very welcome, it remains unclear when the game will come out.

Following the Uncharted 4 announcement, Infamous: Second Son was given a formal release date. Lead designer at Sucker Punch Productions Jaime Griesemer revealed in a PlayStation blog post that the game will become available on March 21, 2014. This is not a surprise. The game was expected to be a launch window title for the PlayStation 4 and become available in the Spring of 2014. Nonetheless, this provides a solid date to look forward to instead of a vague launch window.
