If you're in your early 20's and have an iPhone, chances are you use it for just about everything. From directions, to figuring out who's right in a serious "which came first, the chicken or the egg" debate, there's plenty the iPhone can do. Here's five great apps for taking advantage of your youth, freedom, and curiosity.

Plenty Of Fish: Plenty of Fish boasts around 40 million users, making it a great pool to fish from. It also lets you message others for free, which makes starting up a chat much easier. Those who use Plenty of Fish on their iPhone can even tap into a section marked "Mobile Users," which tells them how far away people are.

Zagat: Looking for a place to eat? Zagat is just about the most comprehensive restaurant guide out there, and having it on your iPhone only makes it easier to use. It costs $9.99, but gives you access to a year's worth of ratings in 45 cities - making this restaurant app useful worldwide.

Happy Hours: If you're more thirsty than hungry, there's the best way to find out where to grab a cheap drink. The app lists restaurants, bars, and any establishment with drink specials. You even can set what time you plan on drinking, what day, and what neighborhood so you have your after-work drink all planned out.

Eventful: More likely than not, you're going to want to explore your city in the evenings. Eventful boasts millions of events and tour schedules of over 130,000 performers. You can get email notifications, try and request a performer to play near you, and the app even tells you what's happening around you based on your GPS location.

Gas Buddy: If you're taking a road trip, the recent gas prices then your just-emerging salary level must have you worried. Lucky for you, Gas Buddy allows you take a look at the cheapest places for gas. You can configure the list to sort by price, distance, and even fuel grade, including diesel.

All of these can be downloaded or purchased through the Apple App store.
