"Pokémon X and Y" are nearly one-month old since its worldwide release, but new images have circulated the Web about new Pokémon that have yet to be discovered.

Three new Pokémon were discovered in an apparent hack into one of the versions of the sixth-generation video games. The hack also encountered two new Mega Evolutions for two Pokémon from the Hoenn region.

In regards to the three new Pokémon, it is unknown if the Pokémon in question are regular pocket monsters or legends yet to be confirmed by The Pokémon Company International.

The first new Pokémon is known as Diancie, a dual Rock-and-Fairy-type Pokémon. Diancie does appear to have rock-type features with crystal-like gems for hair.

The second new Pokémon is a dual Ghost-and-Psychic-type Pokémon known as Hoopa. The new Pokémon has horns, green eyes, with a pink and gray body. Hoopa appears to levitate as well, although it is unknown if that is its Ability.

The final new Pokémon to be discovered, so far, is making history due to its typing. Volcanion is the first Pokémon in the franchise to be a dual Fire-and-Water-type Pokémon.

Mega Evolutions were discovered for the Eon Pokémon Latios and Latias, which have the Hoeen legends appearing more like an airplane than before.

The discovery of the new Pokémon and latest Evolutions coincide with new wing patterns for Vivillon, with one resembling the colors of a traditional Poké Ball.

The Pokémon Company International has not issued a comment regarding the new Pokémon, but assumptions could believe they are set for an event-type distribution. An example of an event distribution is the Torchic event, which has been available since Oct. 12 and ends Jan. 15, 2014. Torchic is available with the item "Blazikenite," which will Mega Evolve Torchic's last evolution, Blaziken, into "MegaBlaziken." Wi-Fi connection is needed to obtain the Fire-type Hoenn starter Pokémon.

As Latinos Post reported, four million copes of the latest Pokémon games were sold during its first weekend launch. The sales of the Kalos-region-based games set a record for the Nintendo 3DS handset console. "Pokémon X and Y" includes nearly 70 confirmed new Pokémon, Mega Evolution, and the Pokémon Amie feature, which is the method to evolve the latest Eevee evolution, Sylveon.
