The members Linkin Park are industry geniuses. Since their Hybrid Theory release in 2000, they’ve garnered awards, worldwide recognition and successfully expanded their musical reach across a handful of genres. They even recorded an album with rap superstar Jay-Z, yet they’re considered a hard rock band.
They’ve even tried their hand in hip-hop oriented remix compilations. In 2002 they released their first remix album, Reanimation, and now, more than 10 years later, they’re returning for a second go around, but with a new twist. Their newest drop, Recharged, takes nearly every song on last year’s Living Things and infuses them with a heavy dose of EDM.
On the album, Linkin Park teams up with world renowned DJs such as Steve Aoki and KillSonik who help catapult the whomping beats to memorable tunes. But as EDM-centric as it may be, the band has not lost touch with it’s hip-hop roots. Pusha T is featured on Vice’s “I’ll Be Gone” remix and Bun B drops a verse on “Roads Untraveled.”

Linkin Park’s days are far from up. The band continues to produce music and captivate listeners of all breeds. They know the ins and outs of the industry. Few bands share similar longevity and versatility, and after 13 years of making albums, they’re still on top of their game.
