On the upcoming season of "Grimm," two characters will try to brush their passionate past under the rug.

On season three of the NBC's series, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) will share more screen time with Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz), but that doesn't meant they'll acknowledge their hook-up from season two. Tulloch told TVLine what Juliette and Renard's relationship will be like it was in season three. "Sasha [Roiz] and I have chosen to play it in a certain way where there is a subtle acknowledgement when those two characters are in a scene together, but [it's] nothing blatant," Tulloch said. "They're not really addressing it."

Next season will also feature a new character, Zuri Ellis. Zuri, a physical therapist and potential love interest for Hank (Russell Hornsby), will be played by Sharon Leal, TVLine confirms.

Leal's character will appear in multiple episodes in season three. When the season opens, Zuri will have spent two months helping Hank heal his broken ankle. Her character is described as  "smart, beautiful and mysterious," meaning Hank may yearn for more than a strictly professional relationship with the healthcare pro.

The big question remains: will she be Wesen? Series co-creators David Greenwalt and James Kouf told TVLine that Hank would get involved with a fairytale creature in season three. But Greenwalt said, "There'll be some kind of romantic thing with Hank. We're not sure if it's going to be a Wesen girlfriend or not."

Leal portrayed Michelle in the 2006 movie adaptation of "Dreamgirls." She has also appeared on "Guiding Light," "Boston Public," "Hellcats" and "Private Practice." She also acted with Hornsby in a 2011 episode of "Suits."

"Grimm" will also feature new monsters and more monster feuds in its third season. Kouf and Greenwalt told TVLine that upcoming episodes will feature "alligators in the sewer" and  "a reemergence of the Bauerschwein-Blutbad feud." In one episode, Sergeant Wu (Reggie Lee) will collide with the Wesen world, in what is to be one of the most frightening scenes yet.

The creature he encounters is "something so creepy that the last thing that creepy was the fly episode," Greenwalt revealed. "This is right on par with that."

TVLine also confirms that Greenwalt has recruited Alexis Denisof to join the show's third season. Greenwalt worked with Denisof on the show "Angel." Denisof will join the fairytale thriller to play Viktor Albert Wilhelm George Beckendorf, Renard's (James Frain) astute first cousin.

Manny Montana of "Graceland" is also joining the series to guest star as David Florez, a hotheaded ex-Marine who served in Afghanistan. Montana's Florez suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, an ailment suffered by many vets.

Grimm's third season premieres on October 25 on NBC.
