After eight years away from the stage, Chilean rock-pop band La Ley will make a comeback during the 2014 Viña del Mar Festival which will take place on February of next year.

According to website Terra, the Chilean band is preparing a tour that will take them to many Latin American countries, and revealed that the band is already working on new songs composed by vocalist Beto Cuevas.

Newspaper La Tercera reported that guitarist Pedro Frugone and drums player Mauricio Clavería will reunite with Cuevas for the enjoyment of their fans next February in the Chilean commune of Viña del Mar.

The same source shared that the details of the reunion and the new tour would be released by Beto Cuevas himself during his presentation in the Latin Grammy Awards, next November 21, where he's competing in the "Best Pop/Rock Album" category with his latest solo project, "Transformación".

The presence of Rodrigo "Coti" Aboitiz and Luciano Rojas, the other two musicians that were a part of the first line-up of the band, is not yet confirmed.

The popular Latino band, winner of a Grammy in the US, will pay homage to Viña del Mar Festival founder, Andrés Bobe, in honor of the 21st anniversary of his death next year.

The founding guitarist for La Ley died in 1994 when his motorcycle crashed against a tree in the commune of La Reina.

Despite their split-up in 2006, La Ley is one of the most popular bands among Latino audiences, and is the only Chilean band to have won a Grammy in the U.S.
