Apple's iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s have charged their way in sales when it comes to the top-four mobile carriers in the United States (U.S.).

According to Canaccord Genuity, the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s are among the top three best-selling smartphones in AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.

Starting with AT&T, the iPhone 5s claimed first place, which dethroned the original and discontinued iPhone 5 in the September sales. The iPhone 5c toppled the Samsung Galaxy S4 for second place while the latter fell to third place. The Galaxy S4's third place finish knocked out the Nokia Lumia 1020 when comparing September's sales to August.

For Sprint, the iPhone 5s also placed first, a position previously held by the Galaxy S4 during August. The iPhone 5c, as seen with AT&T, finished at second place, a position where the discontinued iPhone 5 held. The third place position went to the Galaxy S4.

The iPhone 5s' first place streak continued with T-Mobile as it dethroned the Galaxy S4 for the top spot. Breaking the iPhone 5c streak, the Galaxy S4 placed second ahead of the colorful iPhone. The iPhone 5c, instead, finished third.

Finally, for Verizon Wireless, the iPhone 5s placed first ahead of former champion Galaxy S4. The iPhone 5c finished at third place.

According to Canaccord Genuity, the top vendors during September were clearly Apple and Samsung. While only two smartphone organizations placed the top vendors chart for September, it eliminated HTC, Nokia, Sony, and Motorola in the process from August's rankings.

As Latinos Post reported, Apple announced nine million units of the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were sold during its first weekend on Sept. 20. The Cupertino-based organization didn't reveal specific numbers for the iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c. The nine million units for both phones were four million units more than the first-weekend sales of the iPhone 5 in September 2012, which sold 5 million units.

The new Apple smartphones are also set to launch with prepaid wireless service Cricket in the U.S. on Oct. 25 along with over 30 countries including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, French West Indies, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macau, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion Island, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Thailand.
