The heroes are back in town. The Green Arrow and his gang of vigilantes have returned to Starling City on The CW’s hit series “Arrow,” and this time around their faster, smarter and more determined than ever to serve justice.

Last night’s episode introduced a new villain, the Bronze Tiger, who according to his portrayer Michael Jai White, “just wants to prove himself, to test himself against the best. China White even basically says to him, ‘Here’s a guy who will give you a challenge,’ So it’s one of those things where he’s trying to focus on facing this guy.”

Fans also witnessed a ‘truce,’ we’ll see how long it lasts, between Alderman Sebastian Blood, the rising political star. “One of the most interesting relationships [Oliver] has with Sebastian Blood - who, if you’re into the comics, you can probably guess where that’s going,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “They start out as antagonists and then start to form this relationship as friends. And those are always the best villains to spring up, the ones who start as friends. There’s a lot of that this season - betrayal amongst people, a lot of things that aren’t what they seem.”

To help Oliver with the overwhelming burden resting on his shoulders, TVLine reports that the the Black Canary will also return in the fourth episode. And as a special sneak peek, Stephen Amell shared a first glimpse of the duo back in action. Kreisberg describes Black Canary as “one of the first real feminist heroes, and her mission is to protect women, women who were abused by men or attacked by men.”

The Black Canary won’t make her debut for another two weeks, but be sure to tune in to next week’s episode of “Arrow” Wednesday night on The CW.
