Chime the bells, polish the ring and steam the bridesmaid dresses. The big moment is here. Booth and Brennan are tying the knot, at last. Fans are hoping for a family friendly episode full of laughs smiles and joy, but that wouldn’t be “Bones” style. There will be plenty of love and affection in the October 21 episode, but don’t expect the wedding to go off with at least a few minor hitches, including death, fire and a giant sack of cash.

There will be several furrowed faces during the episode, especially when Booth discovers that Brennan’s father, Max, has been stashing away a duffle bag full of money. The money is cause for suspicious and could cast a gloomy tone over the ceremony, but let’s focus on the good, not the bad or ugly. After all, it is a wedding.

“I wasn’t happy with the first draft of the vows,” David Boreanaz told Entertainment Weekly. “I just wanted to have [it be] sort of a history lesson as to why they were getting married, how they were getting married, why they did it and give back to the fans what they’ve been waiting for a long time.”

But the wedding won’t be all fans will enjoy this season. A honeymoon is close behind. “Our honeymoon is hilarious,” said Boreanaz. “We go to Argentina…Booth just wants to kick back and have a beer and Brennan can’t do that. She doesn’t know how to relax… [Booth] wanted to go to the waterfall pools, but she says there’s fecal matter there so that didn’t happen. She takes me to a morgue! A morgue! Where’s the fun in that? So [he's], like, in [his] tourist clothes, and there’s a murder and bones don’t connect. And then there we are — solving a crime in Argentina when I should be toes up and cold one.”
