Telemundo has announced that casting audtions for the second season of "La Voz Kids" have begun.

In a press statement the network announced that "national castings of the highly-rated musical competition 'La Voz Kids' taking place in Los Angeles, Puerto Rico, San Antonio, New York, Chicago and Miami.  For this second season, casting auditions will be opened to children ages 7 to 15 years old."

Like season one, "La Voz Kids" will start with the blind auditions followed by the battle rounds and live shows. The country's best young vocalists will try to impress three of Latin America's top recording artists who will be featured as coaches. The winner of "La Voz Kids" will receive a recording contract with Universal Music and a scholarship.

According to the show's official website contestants must be bilingual (Spanish and English), and must be citizens or legal residents of the United States. The songs performed at the auditions can be in either English or Spanish. 

Telemundo has yet to announce whether Paulina Rubio, Prince Royce or Roberto Tapia will return as coaches. Additionally it has not been announced if Daisy Fuentes will return as host.

The first season of "La Voz Kids" was one of the most successful shows for Telemundo. Hundreds of children audition with Paoloa Guanche ultimately winning the top prize.
