Grand Theft Auto 5 is already one of the biggest (both in terms of popularity and the actual size of the game's map) in history, but in a panel at the New York Comic Con a voice actor for the game hinted that the game could become even bigger soon.

During the event Shawn "Solo" Fonteno, who plays the main character Franklin in the game, was at a panel with his two fellow voice actors Ned Luke (Michael De Santa), and Steven Ogg (Trevor Phillips) that was moderated by IGN. The voice actors were asked what their dream role would be in a video game voiceover role, and Fonteno responded with Carl "CJ" Johnson, the protagonist from Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

From there, Fonteno revealed some interesting information. He stated that, while he is disappointed that he will not be able to play the role, he is working on a mystery project with the voice actor for CJ, Young Malay. He refused to comment on what this project was, but it appears as though gamers may get a chance to see a crossover between Franklin and the characters from Grand Theft Auto 4 and the characters from the original San Andreas game in the series.

While it looks as though Rockstar is planning additional content set within San Andreas and Los Santos, it is unclear what form this content will take. Users may end up being able to buy DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 and expand the size of the game to include additional settings seen in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (which is the state that Los Santos is in). Rockstar also has a history of creating episodic content such as The Lost and the Damned or The Ballad of Gay Tony which expanded the universe of previous settings of Grand Theft Auto games, so the new CJ content could be one of these spinoffs.

One hint that seems to indicate that the new content featuring CJ being DLC for Grand Theft Auto 5 is the fact that CJ's original neighborhood is in the game. Grove Street, the cul-de-sac neighborhood that CJ started on is within the game; however, the character's house has been destroyed and replace with a new one. However, considering that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas took place in the early 1990's and Grand Theft Auto 5 has a modern setting, it is possible that future DLC could feature an older CJ enjoying the benefits that his adventures gave him in his own Grand Theft Auto game.
