One Direction fans received a special treat Thursday morning when Louis Tomlinson revealed that boy band's new upcoming single will be titled "Story Of My Life." If their new song is even half as good as their last smash hit, "Best Song Ever," then 1D fans have a lot to look forward to.

The five-member boy band enjoyed massive success after they debuted "Best Song Ever," the lead single from their highly anticipated third studio album, earlier this year. The track peaked at No. 2 in both the U.S. and U.K. and won the "Song of the Summer" award at the MTV Video Music Awards in August.

Ready to follow hot on its heels, Louis announced that the band is preparing to release the album's second single, tweeting, "So our next single is gonna be Story of My Life !"

Tomlinson made the announcement just as bandmate Harry Styles admitted that the group is "nervous" about releasing their new album "Midnight Memories," which is scheduled to drop on Nov. 25, reports Entertainment Wise.

Meanwhile, One Direction are wrapping up their "Take Me Home" world tour with their final leg currently taking place across Australia and New Zealand, and just two extra shows in Tokyo, Japan on Nov. 2 and Nov. 3.

Next year, the English heartthrobs will be just as busy on another world tour while simultaneously recording their fourth studio album using a portable music studio.

"One Direction will travel with their own studio in tow when they play stadium dates. It's going to cost a few quid but then, considering the amount of cash they're making on the tour, they can afford it," a source told British newspaper The Sun. "The boys are all writing more and more themselves these days so it will allow them to develop as songwriters. Because of the shows across the globe they'll have no time out to record so this is the best way to get the fourth album done."

One Direction will be travelling to South America in April 2014 as part of their "Where We Are" tour, before they perform across Europe.
