As time goes on, more and more rumors seem to support an early September iPhone 5 unveiling. Now, the website iMore claims to have even more concrete confirmation that the iPhone 5 will be revealed by Apple on September 12, with pre-orders beginning on the same day. The release date in the United States will be nine days later, on September 21.

iMore also claims to have information regarding an international release timeframe. Next-gen iPhone handsets should roll out around October 5, according to the website.

"The information on Apple pre-orders comes from sources that have provided iMore with accurate iPhone related launch dates in the past. The information on the international launches comes from sources that have provided our network, Mobile Nations, with accurate information in the past," iMore's disclaimer reads.

Another recent report by website BGR says that a "trusted AT&T source" says carrier will begin selling the iPhone 5 by the third or fourth week of September.

Apparently, according to a second AT&T source, a regional training event for AT&T employees was also suspended because of a "huge announcement."

Various news sources began getting information about a major Apple event on September 12 around two weeks ago. The event is supposed showcase Apple's upcoming line of products, including the iPhone 5, the rumored iPad Mini, and new iPods. iMore also gave a September 21 release date at the time for the iPhone 5.

With all the recent hiring taking place at Apple supply plants in China, and other companies trying to get their products out in August and September as well, it's a fair bet that the iPhone 5 will be finally seen in mid-September.

Will you be pre-ordering the iPhone 5?
