For over a week, Miley Cyrus had the Twitter World curious about her "change" that would take place on August 12.

That change turned out to be a new haircut, and a radical one at that. Gone is Cyrus' trademark shoulder-length all-American look and in comes a short hipster platinum blonde look. She almost resembles Gewn Stefani.

Cyrus was quick to jump to her own defense before the Twitter world lunged at her. "If you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye :)"

Then she added that the hair made her feel renewed. "Never felt more me in my whole life," Cyrus tweeted.

Cyrus has progressively cut her hair shorter and shorter over the years. Prior to the start of 2012, her brunette hair hung past her shoulders. In early 2012, she started to cut it to a shoulder-length do with some blonde highlights starting to take over. Despite the progressively shorter hairdos over the years, none were radical shifts as Sunday's in which Cyrus not only changed her color completely, but completely did away with her locks.

The new hair made its debut as rumors sparked up that the singer might be headed back to television for next season's "Two And A Half Men." MTV reports that Cyrus will play the love interest of Jake Harper (Angus T. Jone). Cyrus' part is said to be "sexy" and "rife with comedy" according to sources. This would also be the first time that Cyrus returns to the small screen since she ended her run as "Hanna Montana" back in January 2011.
