Netflix is a monster. It continues to pump out fantastic content that lassos viewers in close and won’t let go. Not only are its hit shows “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black” some of the most currently revered shows in television, but its Watch Instantly channel has changed the way we watch TV and provides their viewers with a more personal and versatile experience.

Within the past year, the network unveiled both “House of Cards” and “Orange Is the New Black,” setting records and earning worldwide acclaim. As one can assume, the demand for new content is high, and Netflix continues to deliver. Both series are currently in production on their second seasons, and for fans of “Orange Is the New Black,” their day just got a little better. In an interview with Wetpaint, the show’s most beloved stars fueled the Season 2 excitement and talked about life on the set.

Although the actresses are forbidden from sharing too much of the upcoming season, Dascha Polanco, who plays Dayanara Diaz on the show, said that it’s “amazing,” adding that fans will see the characters “venture out more” and that there will be more dicey interaction between the inmates.

Alysia Reiner (Natalie) steered clear of details, but did say that the premiere episode will rock. “It’s awesome. As one of my castmates said recently, every time we get a new script, it’s like Christmas, and that’s exactly how we all feel.”

“I think that Season 2 is going to be better than Season 1,” said Samira Wiley (Poussey Washington) to seal the deal. “That’s a bold statement, but I stand by it.” Wiley also expressed her joy of working with such an incredible cast. “We formed such a great bond during the first season, so to see each other on a regular basis again is such a treat.”

Selenis Leyva shared similar sentiments. “Just when you think you’ve seen your fellow actors outdo themselves in Season 1, you see them doing something else in Season 2,” she said. “I’m just overwhelmed with the amount of talent, both writing and acting.”

“Orange Is the New Black” will return to Netflix in 2014.
