Conrad Faraj is quickly emerging in the film industry and is in pre-production for his first major Hollywood Independent film.

Born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras in 1990, Faraj and his family moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where he became interested in filmmaking and began making short videos with his school friends and local actors. He soon made over 100 short films, music videos and internet shows under his company Conrad Studios, which he founded in 2003.

In late 2007, the director made his first serious short. The film was the mafia-esque short film "The Candyman Conspiracy (2007)," which received acclaim at a number of festivals.

In 2009, Faraj directed another short film entitled "The Artist," which was a high school media class senior project. The film competed in a number of festivals, including the Indie Gathering Film Festival, where he obtained the second place prize.

The following year, the director made his first feature entitled "The Shadow People." The film was a horror movie, which starred Peter Marquardt ("El Mariachi"), Joanne Wurm and Jim Strang. The movie, which cost a small $2,000, later obtained a theatrical release and also screened at the largest paranormal/horror convention in the U.S., the Scarefest Horror Convention in Lexington, Kentucky.

Faraj later went on to make more short films, including "Witch Hunt," and produced "Thank You Mr. Giggles."

In February 2013, the director was chosen as one of the top sexiest Hondurans in Hollywood by Latina.com, which also included America Ferrera and Sasha Prieto.

Currently the director is finishing up his second feature, a science fiction thriller entitled "The Wind is Watching," starring newcomer Nicole Ann Hicks and Logan Roberts. The director recently got his first Hollywood feature gig titled "The Fall and Rise of Vincent Hayles." The movie, currently in pre-production, will tell the story a famous television actor who must cope with the results of a tragic accident that will ultimately jeopardize his way of life. He is also producing another set of shorts entitled Halloween Horror Shorts for which he is holding auditions.
