The final day of the first elimination round of the 2013 FIBA EuroBasket Championship is upon us and it's expected to wild down to the last game on Monday. Perennial superpowers France, Spain and Italy all punched their way to the second round of the competition. However, not all juggernauts made the cut as Turkey, Russia and Germany will all leave Slovenia on a disappointing note.

Spain (3-1) vs. Georgia (1-3) - 8:30 a.m. (EST)

Spain has been merciless in their last two games since absorbing a 78-69 shocker at the hands of host nation Slovenia. After squashing Czech Republic by 21 points 60-39, the Spaniards vented off their anger towards Poland 89-53 to progress in the tournament. Like France, Spain will not play soft in their last game, even against already eliminated Georgia. In this kind of tourney, every win counts.

Italy (4-0) vs. Sweden (1-3) - 11:30 a.m. (EST)

The Italians have emerged as the alpha dog in this FIBA World Cup qualifier for Europe. Powered by NBA veteran Marco Belinelli and a bunch of Italian League stars, Italy simply outclassed their first four opponents. On Monday, they will take on Sweden in what could be a very one-sided affair.

France (3-1) vs. Belgium (2-2) - 3:00 a.m. (EST)

Coming off a listless performance against Germany in the opening day, Nicolas Batum, Tony Parker and the rest of the star-studded French national basketball team played beautiful basketball in their next three games to secure their place in the next round. However, the mission isn't over yet for France because they are in for a tough test against Belgium, which is expected to come out in full force in their attempt to move into the next round.
