Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzaléz is single and ready to mingle. The 23-year-old artist recently shared several pictures on Instagram of her vacations with friends in Acapulco.

The "Amores Verdaderos" actress relaxed at the beach with her "gang," as she likes to call her group of friends. According to Revista Central, some of the friends that traveled with her were Jimena Longoria, Karina Torres and Ricardo Korkowsky.

In one of the pictures González shared on Instagram, the whole group can be seen wearing hats with the initials GCU, which in Spanish means "Gente Como Uno" (People Like Us). "My gang #lovethem #happy! #GCU," the actress captioned the image.

González spent her vacations with friends after her much publicized split from her boyfriend Mexican businessman Pepe Díaz last month, which she announced through Twitter.

According to People en Español, the actress maintained the relationship with Díaz for about two years, and after rumors started to circulate about an alleged infidelity and repeated objections of Díaz, González decided to break it off.

"Let me tell you that I've been single for more than a month! I'm happy and closing this cycle because here comes an incredible one that is getting me very excited," González tweeted. She followed it with another post that said she was excited and motivated by new life projects and a new phase that began after the break up.

The couple started dating in June 2011, according to TV Notas. In June 2012, the first drama in the relationship surfaced because Díaz didn't want his girlfriend kissing other actors on her shows. Two months later, in August, they split again without giving any reason. They eventually reconciled, only to split up a month after, in September 2012.

González rose to fame after playing Lola, the main character in telenovela "Lola...érase una vez" ("Lola...Once Upon A Time"). With her life often fodder for the media, González confessed to feeling upset about rumors about her personal life. During the Premios Juventud, where she was nominated for two categories, she caught people's attention for taking some time to talk about rumors surrounding her relationship with Díaz.

"You cannot get upset, you have to smile because that's just a lie. Obviously people are morbid, people like gossip. We are very morbid, but when people mess with serious things, I do get upset," she said.
