Nokia has released a new advertisement for the Lumia 925 as the Windows Phone 8 smartphone prepares its launch with AT&T.

The 40-second video, titled "127 seconds, if only this guy had a Nokia Lumia," is a reference to the movie "127 Hours" starring James Franco.

While Franco doesn't appear in the Nokia advertisement, the video recreates the moment when a man's right arm is stuck under a heavy item.

In the ad, a heavy shelf falls on a man after attempting to clean the top shelf.

While wearing cleaning gloves, the man tries to access his smartphone with his left hand for help. Unfortunately, his smartphone doesn't respond to the glove's touches. In the end, the man reverts to cutting his right arm off.

Nokia's answer to his problem? The Lumia 925.

The advertisement comes as AT&T and Nokia announced the Lumia 925 will be available with the aforementioned carrier.

The Lumia 925 will be available with AT&T starting Sept. 13 for $99.99 when signing a two-year contract with the mobile carrier.

The Lumia 925 is already available with T-Mobile since July.

"AT&T has sold more Windows Phones than any other U.S. carrier and the Nokia Lumia 925 makes a great addition to our growing portfolio," said AT&T Senior Vice President of Devices Jeff Bradley. "It packs the outstanding camera performance Nokia is known for with an affordable price point that makes it a solid deal for anyone in the market for a new smartphone."

The Lumia 925's features include a 4.5-inch display with 1,280x768 pixels and a 2,000mAh battery capacity for the 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor. The Lumia 925's wireless connections include the latest Bluetooth and NFC technology. The maximum standby time is 440 hours and just over 12 hours of talk time on a 3G network.
