The United States has steamrolled the competition so far in the competition despite what many consider some signs of laziness on defense as well as poor long-range shooting. They opened with a 98-71 victory over France, defeated Tunisia 110-63, then showed their true prowess against Nigeria. In a lopsided, 156-73 victory, the United States set an Olympic record with n 83-point victory.
