Mexican singer Cristian Castro said in an interview for Mexican TV show "Ventaneando" that his "great love" is actress Sofia Vergara, he has not be able to forget her and still keeps hope of getting back with her.
According to Terra, the singer has not forgotten everything he shared with the beautiful "Modern Family's" star, who is considered one of the sexiest women in the world. Sofia Vergara still has an important place in her former partner's heart, who despite the time, still feels nostalgic when remembering his relationship with the actress.
However, it is unknown whether the statements the singer shared with his fans regarding Vergara were only made due to the rivalry he has with singer Luis Miguel, who also had a relationship with the Latina superstar in 1995.
Castro told "Ventaneando" that Vergara was his great love. "In fact, of all women, Sofia is the woman that I've been in love with the most. I would love to be with her, so let her decide, please. I want to marry her," he said.
The famous actress, however, is engaged to entrepreneur Nick Loeb. Loeb proposed to Vergara during a trip to Mexico in August 2012.
According to Terra, Vergara revealed to Cosmopolitan Magazine in May that her current boyfriend already got married in a lavish wedding and she also had been through that, so she's trying to plan a wedding which will satisfy both of them. She also said they're not going to marry for now. "We need to wait until we can find time in our schedules, because now I'm working like crazy," she said.
Vergara is currently focused on working in the movie "Chef" and "Modern Family's" new season. At the same time, she's participating in the filming of the movie "Fading Gigolo," in which she has several lesbian scenes with actress Sharon Stone. It is also expected that the actress wins an Emmy for her role as Gloria Delgado in "Modern Family," after being nominated in the best actress category three consecutive times.
Vergara expressed on her Twitter account her excitement about the nomination, tweeting, "I'm at the Emmy's party and I'm very excited for being nominated again. I love my job!"
