Another week gone. Another week of silence. Another week of painstakingly praying for the "50 Shades of Grey" movie casting announcements. It's become obvious that E. L. James and Universal Studios enjoy toying with their fans' emotions. If they provide fans with a casting timetable, a hint of who's being pursued for the roles, or even confirmation that they're making steps in the right direction, they could rest easy. But no. That would be too pleasant and thoughtful. Instead, fans are left to their own feverous speculations. They continue to root for their favorite hopefuls, making it seems as though the "50 Shades" masterminds have narrowed down their selection, which in reality is probably untrue. Luckily, fans persist and remain diligent, unwavered by the excruciating day by day pull on their blushing hearts. Top contenders serve as pawns while the game is played, and one in particular remains the clear frontrunner as he tops fan polls and stars in mock trailers time and time again.
Matt Bomer, the name that pleasantly haunts "50 Shades" fans' dreams as they envision their ideal Christian while tossing and turning in tangled sheets, has starred in several trailers alongside "Gilmore Girls" star Alexis Bledel, two of which together have accumulated more than 12.5 million views. He's the poster child of "50 Shades" rumor. He keeps the flame alive while the head honchos remain silent. This time around, however, he's branching out.
In a recent fan made trailer, the "White Collar" actor is pinned alongside the stunning Lyndsy Fonseca. The verdict? Bomer's going to look good next to any starlet. Although it's chicken feed compared to those featuring Bomer and Bledel, the video has snagged nearly 60,000 views. Check it out below.
Bomer continues to rock the "50 Shades" arena. No matter who the damsel on his side, they make a formidable pair. Hopefully James can see what her fans see, but then again, if she did, wouldn't we have our Christian and Anastasia by now?
