Eminem has been really quiet about his upcoming eighth studio album: he hasn't announced a theme, concept, title or a release date, although it is rumored to drop sometime this Autumn. However, on Wednesday anxious fans were treated with a taste of what to expect from the rapper's LP after he premiered a new single from the record that is also featured in the new Call of Duty video game.

The new track, "Survival," appeared in the trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts. Although the song won't be released as a single, the track will appear on Eminem's follow-up to "Recovery," Billboard reports.

"The [new] song's about fighting back and it seems like it fits Ghosts perfectly," Eminem said in yesterday's video statement. "I'm gonna be a big part of the [Call of Duty] game. My new song's in it, got a video dropping for it soon too," The Guardian reports.

In the song, Slim Shady raps that he "came up rough / came to ruffle feathers," calling this his "last chance to make this whole stadium erupt."

He also mentions that he has no plans to retire, again: "If I don't do this music s--t I lose my s--t," he spits, adding: "It's all I know how to do ... I don't own no diploma for school, I quit! So there's nothing for me to fall back on."

Last week, the reclusive emcee gave a rare performance at G-Shock's "Shock The World 2013" 30th anniversary party. However, to his fans' dismay, he didn't perform any new material.

According to a press release, "An announcement regarding the new album and its first single is expected soon."

Activision's "Call of Duty: Ghosts" is due out on various gaming platforms on Nov. 5.
