New Mega Evolution Pokémon names have leaked, including the first-generation starter Pokémon.
Although the information hasn't been confirmed by The Pokémon Company International, GameFreak Inc., or Nintendo, 18 additional Pokémon names might be able to Mega Evolve in "Pokémon X and Y."

All About Pokémon Figure (AAPF) listed the names of Pokémon that were recently registered or re-registered for trademark.
Of the names provided, four have been confirmed by The Pokémon Company International to Mega Evolve in the upcoming sixth-generation game. The four confirmed names are Absol, Ampharos, Kangaskhan, and Mewtwo.
Blaziken and Lucario's names are absent from the list, but have been confirmed to Mega Evolve.
The 18 other Pokémon, based on the trademark list, that might Mega Evolve are Abomasnow, Aerodactyl, Aggron, Banette, Blastoise, Charizard, Gengar, Gyarados, Gardevoir, Heracross, Houndoom, Jynx, Latias, Latios, Medicham, Pinsir, Scizor, and Tyranitar.

The 18 Pokémon names should be considered rumors since the news is still unconfirmed by Pokémon officials, although it appears to be an interesting list, if true.
As part of the release of "Pokémon X and Y," a Torchic event has been confirmed. The distribution event will take place over the Internet with Torchic holding the Mega Stone item called "Blazikenite." The item will transform Torchic's last evolution, Blaziken, into "MegaBlaziken." The event is set to take place from Oct. 12 until Jan. 15, 2014.
"Pokémon X and Y" is set for an Oct. 12, worldwide release date for the Nintendo 3DS. Pokémon fans who pre-order either version of the games at GameStop can receive a "Pokémon X and Y" poster featuring the Kalos region map and legendary Pokémon Xerneas and Yveltal. The posters are in limited supply.
