With SummerSlam just six days - including today's first ever SummerSlam press conference, all the stars were out in full force for Monday's show trying to make last-minute preparations for the pay-per-view.

MATCH #1: Wade Barrett vs. Daniel Bryan (special guest referee Raw GM Brad Maddox)

Barrett and Bryan start off the show with Bryan having no shot with the odds stacked against him. Barrett rolled up Bryan for the pin, as Bryan was on the offense kicking the Englishman down. Maddox managed to leave the ring before Bryan could take out his frustrations on the special guest referee.
WINNER: Wade Barrett

MATCH #2: Randy Orton vs. Damien Sandow

Sandow handcuffed his Money In The Bank (MITB) briefcase to the ring post to make sure that Cody Rhodes - who has been hounding Sandow for weeks, faced off against the other MITB briefcase-holder, Randy Orton. Sandow seemed to have the match under control until he got distracted by Rhodes, who was doing commentary at ringside, as he attempted to steal Sandow's briefcase. Sandow ate an RKO after the distraction and was defeated by "The Viper".
WINNER: Randy Orton

MATCH #3: The Great Khali & Natalya (w/ Hornswoggle) vs. AJ Lee & Big E. Langston

AJ and Langston, who have a matched scheduled against Dolph Ziggler and Kaitlyn at SummerSlam, were easily distracted by Hornswoggle, as AJ seems to becoming more unhinged as the pay-per-view draws closer.
WINNER: The Great Khali & Natalya

Mr. McMahon comes to the ring to demand answers from Maddox for how he officiated the opening match between Bryan and Barrett. McMahon, accepting Maddox's apology, and considered Maddox's request - the opportunity to officiate the John Cena-Daniel Bryan WWE championship main event - before Triple H Pedigree'd Maddox to make his point to McMahon. Triple H then named himself the special guest referee for the SummerSlam main event.

MATCH #4: Kane vs. Titus O'Neil (w/ Darren Young)

Kane dismantled Titus O'Neil before Bray Wyatt and his clan attempted to take out "the Big Red Machine." Kane disappeared from the ring before Erick Rowan and Luke Harper entered, with Kane standing behind The Wyatt Family after the lights went out, and came back on, leaving Bray Wyatt laughing maniacally in the ring as the ring post burst with Kane's hellfire.
WINNER: Kane

MATCH #5: World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio vs. Kofi Kingston (non-title)

The champion Del Rio capitalized on one mistake made by Kingston, nailing Kingston with knees to the gut as the high-flyer attempted a risky move off the top rope. Once Del Rio took advantage, he cinched the Cross Armbreaker and forced Kingston to tap out for the loss.
WINNER: Albert Del Rio

MATCH #6: The Usos vs. The Real Americans

In a match-up of speed versus brawn, the Usos outsmarted Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger when Jey Uso got the tag from brother Jimmy, sneaking up on Swagger and rolling him up for the pin and the win.
WINNER: The Usos

The Miz invited John Cena and Daniel Bryan to MizTV to discuss their main event at SummerSlam, with Bryan calling Cena "a parody of wrestling." Bryan offered to slap Cena in the face - a Japanese custom signifying respect but retracted his offer because Bryan believes that he does not deserve the respect. Cena slaps Bryan but wouldn't be baited into slapping Cena. Triple H comes out to control the situation before Randy Orton came out to the ring to warn both Bryan and Cena to watch their backs at SummerSlam.

MATCH #7: Fandango vs. R-Truth

Fandango and R-Truth held a dance-off that ended with Fandango attacking R-Truth from behind before he made his escape.
WINNER: No Contest

MATCH #8: 20-man Battle Royal For A Shot At Dean Ambrose U.S. Title At SummerSlam

Ryback was dominating the battle royal, tossing everyone in his path over the top rope. With Rob Van Dam, Mark Henry, and Ryback the last three standing, RVD and "the world's strongest man" teamed up to eliminate Ryback. Down to RVD and Henry, Van Dam outwitting Henry using his speed, guile, and Henry's own momentum against him to toss him over the ropes. The Shield made their way down to the ring, after the battle royal, ready to take out RVD when Mark Henry and The Big Show - back from injury - made the save to even up the odds.
WINNER: Rob Van Dam

MATCH #9: Paul Heyman vs. CM Punk

Heyman brought Brock Lesnar with him, hoping to get his hands on Punk before SummerSlam. Punk, expecting a trap, attacked both Heyman and Lesnar, sneaking up from behind and attacking Lesnar with a video camera, before attempting a suicide dive into Lesner. The "Next Big Thing" could make his escape. Punk went after Heyman, with Curtis Axel coming out to help his mentor, only to eat a steel chair across the back and a GTS at the top of the ramp before closing out the show
WINNER: No contest
