After pleasantly surprising her fans with the release of her new album, the Mexican singer Maite Perroni makes her film debut, lending her voice to a character in the animated production "Selección Canina"(Canine Team).

Maite, also an actress, said she was nervous but excited about the upcoming release of her solo album, titled "Eclipse de Luna" (Lunar Eclipse), which is starting to promote the single "Tu y Yo" (You and Me) currently being played on the radio.

Maite, who came to fame with the RBD group, begins a new phase in her career with this new album. "With RBD I lived wonderful and amazing things and it will always be a very important part on my career. But now I start taking a different way. It´s an interesting process, which makes feel me very excited, but at the same time it makes me feel a little scared because it makes me realize that I have yet a lot of things to learn. Now I have to start over from a genuine place and reconnect myself to the public," said the 30-year-old Mexican artist, according to information presented by the Nuevo Herald.

Now, after having announced her new album, and according to information disclosed in the El Diario website, she surprises again with the new project she is working on, giving voice to the character 'Maite Terranova" (Newfoundland Maite), one of the characters from the animated production, which tells the adventures of a group of soccer dogs.

"It's a film about soccer, about teamwork, about how important is to raise awareness on the importance of working together toward the same goal in order to achieve goals. I love it," said the actress through a Twitcam.

In this film, which is planned to be launched before the World Soccer Cup Brazil 2014, Maite gives life to a reporter. Besides, other famous people in soccer such as Jorge Campos, Alberto Garcia Aspe, Zague, among others, participate in the film.

Once again the talent of this young Mexican is shown, a woman who enjoys and makes us enjoy her work, either singing, acting or listening to her voice.
