Earlier this week, it was revealed that Selena Gomez's latest breakup with singing sensation Justin Bieber caused her to become visibly "stressed out." However, that didn't stop the singer from brining in her 21st birthday with a bang.

The actress celebrated a major milestone on Monday, July 22 with more than a dozen friends, including Hollywood pals Ashley Benson and Francia Raisa. The group ate and drank champagne at French bistro Bagatelle in West Hollywood, while sharing snapshots of their festivities on Instagram, reports Us Weekly.

In an interview that aired on Sunday, Gomez told Ryan Seacrest that dealing with a breakup in the public eye is "unbearable."

"I'm sure you could actually see those pictures of me being, like, way stressed out about it," she told Seacrest. "And it's hard, because what do you do? Do you just wanna sit in your house and hide and not go anywhere?"

However, the former Disney star didn't show an ounce of stress during the fete, despite her split with the 19-year-old Canadian singer just a few weeks ago. In one picture, the "Spring Breakers" star thanked Bagatelle "for an amazing birthday." In other pictures, the star, who wore a white crop top and matching shorts, posed with her "Spring Breakers" co-star Benson, 23, and struck a seductive pose with Raisa, 24.

"My lil sis is finally 21!" said Raisa, who stars on ABC Family's "Secret Life of the American Teenager." "You know what that means. . .Taco cake!" The meal came courtesy of Jack in the Box, per Gomez's Instagram account.

Gomez kicked off her birthday celebrations days earlier on Saturday, July 20. Joined by Raisa, Benson, Julianne Hough and Lily Collins, the pop star hit up Beacher's Madhouse in West Hollywood. "They were all wearing little black dresses," a source tells Us Weekly.

"I could not have asked for a better birthday," Gomez tweeted July 22. "This one will be remembered forever."

Taylor Swift wasn't able to make either soiree, but she was certainly there in spirit. "Happy 21st birthday to my friend, and the closest thing I've ever had to a sister, Selena Gomez," she tweeted.

The newly legal singer also paid homage to herself by creating a video with her friends, reports USA Today. Watch it below:
