It wasn't too long ago that we began hearing rumors that the HTC One would land on Verizon's network sometime in August, and if a new leaked roadmap for the carrier is accurate, that date could end up being August 1.

Tech website PhoneArena received a leaked internal Verizon memo from one of its readers, and the document goes on to show a number of upcoming releases, including the HTC One, which is pegged for the first day of August. There has been no confirmation by carrier although Verizon store reps have told Latinos Post as well as a number of Latinos Post readers that the HTC One should be coming sometime in August.

Adding credibility to the leak is the fact that an HTC One model was recently spotted in an FCC filing. The document reveals that the handset is cleared to operate on LTE band 13 (Verizon's band), GSM 850/1900, and CDMA 850/1900 — in other words, it's definitely the Verizon HTC One. Smartphones generally tend to release soon after they pass through the FCC.

The Verizon HTC One will sport a 4.7-inch 1080p display that can push out 468 pixels per inch, a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage capacity, an HTC "UltraPixel" rear-facing camera module, and a 2-megapixel camera. The HTC One is encased in sleek aluminum unlike many competitors, and comes with Beats audio support for music lovers. There's no word on whether the Verizon HTC One will ship with Android 4.2.2, which is only now hitting HTC Ones worldwide in the form of an update. Expect the latest version of HTC's Sense UI with Blinkfeed and video highlights.
