Former husband and wife Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony will be part of this year's Premios Juventud hosted by Univision for the very first time. Lopez will perform alongside Cuban-born singer Pitbull during the opening show to celebrate the tenth anniversary of award show, The Huffington Post reported. She is also set to receive the "World Icon" award.

The multi-award winning singer and actress, who recently got her very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has recorded several songs with Pitbull that have become international hits. The duo will perform some of them, including "Live it Up," "On The Floor" and "Dance Again."

The Puerto Rican star will receive one of the highest honors of the night: the World Icon award, which is exclusively given to those Hispanic artists that have achieved global fame. This is the second time an artist receives it in the Premios Juventud. The previous winner was Lopez's ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Lopez could also take home the "Actress Who Steals The Screen" award, since she is nominated in the film category.

So far, the charismatic artist has received 25 nominations for Premios Juventud in the last 10 years and has won 10 times. Yet, this is the first time she will attend the show, reported The Huffington Post.

The 43 year-old star began her career as a dancer on the Fox sketch comedy series "In Living Color" and is now become a global brand, not only as a singer and actress, but also as an entrepreneur in the fashion world and fragrances business. "Jenny from the Block" has sold more than 70 million records worldwide in recording career that began in 1999 with the release of the single "If You Had My Love," which reached top of the charts in the U.S. and five other nations.

Besides Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull, other artists have been confirmed to perform at show, including reggaetoneros Chino y Nacho, former RBD Matie Perroni, Mexican superstar Thalía, reggaetonero Yandel and Bachata singer Prince Royce. Other performers include Eiza González, Jencarlos Canela, Marc Anthony, Marconi, Larry Hernandez, Lucero, Victor Manuelle con Gocho, Abraham Mateo, Angel & Khris, Becky G, DJ Chino con Papayo, Fito Blanco, El Dasa, J Alvarez, J Balvin, Kevin Ortiz, Leslie Grace y N'Klabe.

The Premios Juventud will take place in Miami on July 18, and, according to E! Online, it will be presented by Erika Buenfil and Eduardo Yañez.
