The 2013 Tour de France will resume on Tuesday following a one-day rest. After nine testy stages of the 100th edition of the world's greatest biking race, Great Britain's Chris Froome lives up to the hype as this year's top contender, taking the yellow jersey with a sensational Stage 8 performance on Saturday.

Now, the pressure is finally on for the Team Sky leader to build up a significant lead before other general classification contenders such as Alberto Contador and Alejandro Valverde of Spain, Bauke Mollema and Laurens ten Dam of the Netherlands, and even Stage 9 winner Daniel Martin of Ireland begin to take over in the tour.

Stage 10

Saint-Gildas-des-Bois to Saint-Malo, 197 km (122.4 mi)

Tuesday's race will be another fast-paced stage that will take the riders through the epicenter of French cycling - Brittany. Unlike the last two mountainous stages of the tour, Stage 10 will once again put the sprinters at the forefront of competition with the anticipation of another razor sharp finish among the fastest pedal-pushers in the world: Mark Cavendish, Peter Sagan, Andre Greipel and Marcel Kittel.
