Forbes' 2013 "Most Powerful Celebrities" 100 list has in it a couple of Latino names that are getting more and more influential each day.

According to latintimes.com, the list is made out by taking into account the earnings and net worth of each celebrity as well as other factors in fame. The most powerful Latina right now is Jennifer Lopez. The diva is at number 12 on the list, having dropped from the first place slot she secured last year. According to voxxi.com, her incomes went down $12 million after she left "American Idol", but still she is making up to it with her Dance Again World Tour, which has been making an outstanding $1 million per night.

Sofia Vergara is at Number 54 on the list. The Colombian was, according to Forbes magazine, the highest-paid actress on U.S. television in 2012. Apart from her success on "Modern Family" , she's also been the face of several Pepsi commercials, and has her own clothing line at Kmart. Being bilingual is her great advantage because it means she is able to do commercials both in English and in Spanish, which is especially beneficial for the brands.

On the sports field, Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal was ranked number 51 on the list. According to periodistadigital.com, Nadal makes $5.4 million per year thanks to his efforts on the field, while a significant $21 million he makes it through his contracts with brands like Armani, Nike and KIA. And we have Lionel Messi at number 39. The Argentinean soccer sensation has been chosen not one, not two, not three, but four times as World Player of the Year by FIFA. He has just signed a new deal with FC Barcelona that will pay him $20 million annually, according to latintimes.com.

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen is at Number 81 among the most powerful celebrities. Married to NFL star Tom Brady and a mother of two, the 32-year-old is a businesswoman who has deals with H&M, Chanel and David Yurman, apart from having launched her own line of flip-flops, according to voxxi.com.

Also on the list is comedian and actor George Lopez, ranking at number 93. He became mostly known for starring his self-produced sitcom "George Lopez". The 52-year-old also makes money from his books, the latest of them being: "I'm not gonna lie: And other lies you tell when you turn 50."
