In lieu of a new album, Beyoncé has given fans the next best thing. The star singer has announced a new round of fall shows for her "Mrs. Carter Show World Tour." She'll be making plenty of stops in Latin America and North America, and while the news is all fine and dandy, fans still desperately wait for more details surrounding her follow up to the 2011 album, 4.

In a recent interview discussing the Beyoncé's new album, collaborator Ne-Yo told Billboard that Beyoncé and the rest of her crew were still putting the pieces together.

"They're still trying to figure out what they want that to be, which I'm not mad at," Ne-Yo said. "Beyoncé's the kind of artist where you're not going to see it until it's right. And her fans - they love her so they'll be patient."

Forgiving, sure, but patient? Every second that passes, Beyoncé fans grow more eager for the album's release. She's been back and forth for the past couple months, and there's no definitive end on the horizon. The singer has yet to even announce her first single. She's been teasing at the new single since her Super Bowl performance, but still, they've been nothing but glimmers of hope.

At first, the star singer led fans to believe that her song featured in her Pepsi commercial, "Grown Woman," was to be the first single, but she later changed her mind, holding out for something even better. She even self-released a full track, titled "Bow Down / I Been On," but that too proved to be nothing more than a flicker of hope. Finally, fans believed that "Standing on the Sun," which she debuted in her recent H&M commercial, could be the one, but that too didn't hold up to the pop star's standards.
