Google Nexus 7 Tablets Sell Out; Pre-Order on Google Play or Find it on eBay

Getting your hands on a Google Nexus 7 tablet might be a little tougher than you think. Incredible demand means that you probably won't be able to find one in stores, and even the internet comes with its own costs. If you can't wait, and need to have a Nexus 7 as soon as possible, here's your two best shots at getting one soon.

Google Play

Google's store may be your best shot at getting the Nexus 7 at retail price. Google Play states that the 8GB Nexus 7 is "In Stock" and will be "Delivered in 3-5 business days" for the price of $199. Sadly, the 16GB model priced at $249 is still "coming soon." The store does allow you to enter your email address so that you can be notified when the device is available for purchase.

Ebay

There are plenty of Google Nexus 7 tablets for purchase on Ebay, only problem is that you will be paying a premium. The 8GB version is priced around $275, and the 16GB model is going for around $300.

Other than shopping online and may, you may be out of luck. Gamestop told Reuters that they ran out of shipments and customers will have to wait until the August shipment. Staples, Costco, Kmart, Sears and Office Depot are all reporting similar shortages.

The Google Nexus 7 comes with a 7-inch screen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a front-facing 1.2 megapixel camera. It also has a powerful Nvidia quad-core Tegra 3 processor powering the latest version of Google's Android Jelly Bean.
