Botswana and Central African Republic will face in a match of relatively little importance to either nation in the World Cup qualifiers on Saturday.

Both sides have already been eliminated from qualification and are simply playing to avoid the last place in the group. The top team in the group moves on to the third round to take on another group winner for a chance to qualify for the World Cup finals in Brazil next summer.

Central African Republic currently sits in third place in the group with three wins. The team can garner a maximum of nine points; first place Ethiopia already has 10. The Wild Beasts started their tournament with a resounding 2-0 win over Botswana on June 2, 2012. Since that match, the team has suffered three straight losses. Ethiopia took them 2-0 on June 10, 2012 while South Africa destroyed them in two straight matches. On March 23, 2013 Bafana Bafana won 2-0 and on June 8, 2013, the South Africans finished off Central African Republic with a 3-0 blowout victory.

Botswana has had a rough journey. After losing 2-0 against Central African Republic, the team managed a key draw against South Africa on June 9. In March, Ethiopia defeated Botswana 1-0 and last week, Ethiopia added a 2-1 victory over Botswana to the record books.

Central African Republic has scored two goals and conceded seven times in the tournament. The team has not scored a single goal on the road. Botswana has scored two goals and has managed a loss and draw.

Prediction: Botswana wins its first match of the tournament 1-0.

Start Time: Kick off starts at 9 AM Eastern Standard Time.

TV Info: The match will not be transmitted on television in North America.
